Full Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred for overnight Accommodation at Your Hotel in Arusha. Your guide will meet you for the safari briefing.
- Dinner and Overnight Hotel or lodge in Arusha.
After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for the most famous and the first national park to be gazetted in Tanzania; The Serengeti National Park. On your way, you have the chance to visit Olduvai- Gorge where human fossils were discovered by the Leakey’s family suggesting that mankind started in Africa. Inside the Serengeti, you expect to see lots of animals all year round but it is the Migration herds that amaze many travelers. Resident animals include buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras and so many bird species.
Wake up for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti plains with picnic lunch taken at one of the designated sites, or if you wish you can do an early morning game drive then go back to the lodge/tented camp for breakfast then relax until in the afternoon. You can then go for a sunset game drive in the plains.
In the morning after breakfast in your hotel in Serengeti, will check out and you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, after reaching Ngorongoro, will descend to the Crater Floor. You will do a full day of game drives at the floor and have picnic lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site. After lunch, you will continue with game drives in the Crater floor in search of the rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, gerenuks, etc. Ngorongoro Crater is also famous for bird life and at Lake Magadi at the middle of the crater floor you can see flamingos, pelicans, Egyptian geese, and many more aquatic species. Other birds include the hamerkop, Lilac-breasted rollers, weavers and many more. Later in the afternoon, you will drive up the Crater Rim for overnight.
Check out at the lodge and start to exit the Ngorongoro conservation then exit the Ngorongoro toward Arusha and be dropped off at the Your Hotel in Arusha, or Arusha Airport for departure back home or another destination.
